Whether portraits of people or
wildlife, brilliantly hued paintings
that faithfully capture each
individual’s personality and
expression characterize the
works of Jace McTier and Lucy
McTier: art that is found in many
private and public collections
across America. Lucy McTier had
the honor of painting President
Ronald Reagan and she and her
family presented the portrait to
him in the Oval Office in 1985.
Beginning in 1979, Lucy has
painted hundreds of oil portraits
and has passed on her expertise
to her son, Jace.
Jace received his first oil
commission at the age of sixteen
and has been specializing in
athletic, children’s portraits and
wildlife art as well as mural
installations as a full time career
since 1996.
